Inside Season Ledger

What is in the box.

Everything below works today. Nothing on this page is a promise about someday.

Your rules

Set your hours once

Pick your office hours, whether you work Saturdays, how long a gap you want between meetings, and how many new clients you will take in a day. Everything else in the app follows from those answers, on any date of the year.

Appointments

Booking that knows your rules

When the phone rings, open the picker and take the booking. New clients get a full hour, returning clients half of one, with a buffer between meetings. Days you are off and days you are full are already dimmed — only real openings are ever offered, and two people can never take the same time.

Paperwork

A checklist on every meeting

Each appointment arrives with its own list of the documents that client owes you — the standard list for a new or returning client, plus anything one-off their situation needs. Tick items off as they come in, and see at a glance who is ready and who you are still chasing.

Notes

Notes where you need them

Every meeting has a notes space that saves as you type. Open the appointment, write it down, close it. The notes stay with the meeting and print on the day sheet.

Print

The printable day sheet

One page for the desk each morning: who is coming and when, the documents they still owe you, their status, your notes, and blank ruled lines for anything you write by hand.

Clients

A client book that maintains itself

Every booking adds or updates the client automatically — no separate data entry. Search by name or phone number, open anyone to see their full visit history, and edit or remove a client whenever you need to.

Time

Time tracking and billing

Keep projects for the work between meetings, with an hourly rate on each. Log time by hand or run the timer — it keeps counting even if you close the app. Track what is paid and what is still owed, with a balance due on every project.

Billing

The printable time report

Pick a date range and get a clean report: every time entry, a subtotal per project, and a grand total. Print it or keep it for your records.

Emails

Emails to your clients, optional

If you want, clients can get a confirmation when you book them, a reminder the day before, and a note if a meeting moves. These start switched off, only go to clients with an email on file, and every email tells them how to stop receiving them.

Your people

One desk, more than one pair of hands

Invite an assistant, a bookkeeper, or a second preparer to the same desk and they see the same schedule, clients and notes. Each person gets two switches: whether they can see time and billing, and whether they can change your hours and daily limits. Only the person who set the desk up can add or remove anyone.

Privacy

Private by design

Your client book — names, phone numbers, emails, notes — is visible only to your signed-in account. Nothing about your clients ever appears on this website.
