Terms

The agreement, in plain words.

Season Ledger is provided by Draw & Ledger Software, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. Using it means you agree to what is below. Last updated 15 September 2026.

Who this is between

These terms are between you and Draw & Ledger Software, LLC, the company that makes Season Ledger. When you sign in and use the service, you accept them. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

Your account

Accounts are created by hand, one at a time — there is no self-serve signup. To open one, write to support@seasonledger.com and we will set you up.

  • An account belongs to one firm. The person who sets it up may invite people who work in that firm, and decides what each of them can see.
  • You are responsible for everything done under your account, so keep your password to yourself.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has your password, and we will help you secure the account.
  • You must give us a real email address; it is how we reach you about your account.

What you may use it for

Run your own practice with it: your schedule, your clients, your paperwork checklists, your time. That is what it is for.

Do not use it to break the law, to store information you have no right to hold, or to attack, overload, copy, or resell the service. If an account is used that way, we may close it — see the ending section below.

Your records stay yours

Everything you put into Season Ledger belongs to you. We hold it so the app works, and we handle it exactly as described on the privacy page. You can take a copy out or ask for it to be deleted at any time.

It is a tool, not an advisor

Season Ledger helps you organise a season. It does not give tax advice, does not prepare or file returns, and does not check your figures. Professional judgment and the accuracy of your work remain yours.

Keeping your own copy

We take reasonable care to keep the service running and backed up. Even so, no software is faultless. For anything you cannot afford to lose, print the day sheet or the time report and keep your own record.

Cancellation

You may stop using Season Ledger whenever you like. Write to support@seasonledger.com and ask us to close your account — there is no fee and no notice period.

  • Before anything is deleted, you get the chance to take your records with you. Ask and we will give you a copy.
  • After an account closes, we delete its data after 60 days, as described on the privacy page. You can ask us to delete sooner.
  • If we close an account because it was used to break these terms, we will tell you why, and you still get the chance to take your records first unless the law says otherwise.

Our liability

The service is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable, never lose an appointment reminder, or never contain an error.

To the extent the law allows, Draw & Ledger Software, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — missed revenue, lost clients, penalties, or the cost of recovering data — that follow from using the service or from it being unavailable.

Where we are liable for something, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem. Where the law does not allow a limit like this, this section gives you every protection the law does allow.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything the law says cannot be limited, such as deliberate wrongdoing.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the last revision. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong in the courts of Virginia, and you agree to that venue.
